Jazz in Green Spain (Mogro) 5 days

Once again we return to Cantabria in Green Spain but this time to the excellent, modern 4* Hotel Milagros Golf overlooking a sandy beach in the small village of Mogro. We last visited there six years ago and everyone enjoyed their stay. It’s situated next to the Liencres National Park and next door to a golf club. Spacious rooms, an indoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, gym, Turkish Bath, Putting green, boutique and sun lounge will enhance your stay. It’s also well-known locally for its cuisine.

We set off from Bath on Sunday and pick up as indicated below en route to Plymouth. Here we catch the 1545 sailing to Santander. During the crossing we anticipate that the band will play for your entertainment. Look out for the dolphins as we approach the Spanish coast.
When we land in Spain on Monday at 1215 we drive out of the city westwards and will reach the hotel after about 30 minutes and will check in for two nights . After check-in we’ll have lunch and the rest of the day is free to explore the area or take advantage of the beach. After dinner, the Band plays for your entertainment.
On Tuesday we set off for the outstandingly scenic Picos de Europa mountain range and we travel through the Hermida Gorge on our way to the little mountain town of Potes. We’ll stop here and you can wander around its cobbled back streets or enjoy refreshment by the river. For those who are interested in a cable car ride, the coach will continue up the mountain to Fuente Dé where the cable car takes them to the plateau above. The Band plays for your entertainment after dinner.
On Wednesday we drive into the mountains again, this time a ride up the Besaya Valley, along the route created by the Romans, to Reinosa at the entrance to the ski slopes. After sightseeing here we continue across the Ebro Dam to the El Escudo Pas and descend down another stunningly scenic Roman route, the Pas Valley, to the spa of Puente Viesgo where we stop for sightseeing. We now continue back to Santander, stopping at the Hypermarket before we catch the 2115 sailing to England.
At some point during the crossing the Band will play in the main bar and quite probably again on the final day. We reach Plymouth at 1615 on Thursday and after disembarkation the coach then returns to the original pick up points.

The cost includes: travel by executive coach; ferry crossing with cabin; two nights 4* hotel accommodation with buffet breakfast and dinner each day at the hotel with wine; one lunch; entertainment by the Panama Jazz Band; excursions as detailed.
