Spanish Minicruise 2018 3 days

The Spanish Minicruise is based around the sailing schedule of Brittany Ferries’ flagship, “Pont Aven” to Santander in Northern Spain. The ship sails from Plymouth on Sundays returning to Portsmouth on Tuesdays. It then sails back to Santander later that day from Portsmouth and returns to Plymouth on Thursday. Thus the sailing schedule is a triangular rotation. The respective sailing times are shown below. We provide a coach transfer between the two ports on the dates shown below.

NB Our Autumn departures may be the final opportunity to purchase tobacco and wine under the current Customs regulations. The programme next year will start after we have left the EU and we may well revert to the previous regulations which allow smaller quantities of these goods.

If you wish to travel on a date other than those shown below you may do so, subject to availability, but you will have to make your own way to and from the port. There is a £20 deduction per adult as no coach transfer is involved, i.e. does not apply to the Double Minicruise.There is NO deduction for children.

Passengers with disabilities:
Disabled cabins are occasionally available and are based on the 4-berth outside cabin price.
They cannot be booked more than 3 weeks in advance and are for wheelchair-bound travellers only (and their Carers).
Passengers using a wheelchair even if not requiring a Disabled Cabin
must contact us to make a booking as places are limited.

Ex - Plymouth

The “Pont Aven” sails from Plymouth on Sundays at 1545. We reach Santander at 1215( Spanish time) on Monday and you may leave your belongings in your cabin when you go ashore. The ship berths in the heart of this charming city and the main square is an easy 10-minute stroll. Just a few steps away from the Terminal there are various bars and shops which will give you the authentic feel of real Spain. The ship begins its return crossing at 1515 and once again, the amenities are there for you to enjoy. The awardwinning Le Flora silver service restaurant offers a unique and very attractive opportunity to dine in style and watch the ocean glide by.The cruise continues next day as we enter the English Channel and sail eastwards to Portsmouth where we dock at 1415 on Tuesday. After clearing Immigration and Customs formalities you board the coach or minibus waiting to bring you back to Plymouth(or Exeter). The drive takes about 4 ½ hours dependent upon traffic conditions.

Ex-Portsmouth

The “Pont Aven” sails at 1715. We reach Santander at 1815 on Wednesday. The ship begins its return crossing at 2115 and once again, the amenities are there for you to enjoy. The cruise continues next day as we enter the English Channel and sail eastwards to Plymouth where we dock at 1615 on Thursday. After disembarkation we’ll take you back to Portsmouth by coach or minibus.
Optionally, on Tuesdays we will arrange a coach to take you from Millbay Docks, Plymouth to Portsmouth Ferryport(with an Exeter pick up,if required-however, we can't guarantee to take you back to Exeter). Thus you sail home into Plymouth on the following Thursday.

4-berth cabins have two ground beds and two beds above which stow away into the ceiling; shower and WC
(NB) There are no 2-bedded cabins on the ship or 2-berth cabins with porthole;
We cannot obtain Commodore Class; De Luxe or Club Class cabins for minicruise passengers.

Double Minicruise

A double minicruise is possible (subject to availability) on any Sunday except during the period July 22nd - September 29th. It sails from Plymouth to Santander and returns to Portsmouth then sails from Portsmouth to Santander and returns to Plymouth on a Thursday. It is in fact two successive minicruises back to back. You are on the ship for four nights making for a 5-day cruise. You will have the same cabin throughout. Early booking is essential for June, July, and October departures.

Cost:

£250 one person in a 2-berth cabin £210 each for two persons in a 2-berth cabin
£250 each for two persons in a 4-berth cabin £210 each for three or four persons in a 4-berth cabin
No 4-berth outside cabins available after April  
 

NB It is only available on Plymouth departures. Child under 16 - £200. Under 4 is free.

BOOKING CONDITIONS

Full payment is required is required at time of booking. No charges are made for credit or debit cards. If you wish to pay by cheque or postal order please make the booking and then send the payment within the next 5 days. N.B. When you make your booking we need the full names of all passengers,date of birth and nationality. Also, please advise if anyone on the ticket is disabled or has walking difficulties.
Cancellation.
If you have to cancel more than 15 days in advance we will refund 85% of the cost. If you cancel after that there is no refund and if you fail to show up there is no refund. There is no charge to amend names and these can be amended up to 4 hours before departure.
