Our nearest Continental neighbours are just across the Channel in Brittany and our no-hassle weekend break is an ideal opportunity to get to know this pleasant part of France. We say no-hassle because there’s no queueing, no waiting around, your break starts as soon as you board the ship. Everything is taken care of, you just sit back, take in the local scene, relax and make the most of your brief holiday! At Concarneau Our 3* Hotel de l’Océan overlooks a sandy beach on the Baie de la Forêt. There’s a covered, heated swimming pool and jacuzzi for your indulgence. All rooms have private facilities, breakfast and dinner with wine included. There is a lift.
On Friday we pick up as indicated and drive to Plymouth to take the overnight sailing to France. A cabin is provided.
Saturday: On arrival, we proceed leisurely into Morlaix where it is market day. We resume our journey in the late morning and travel to Concarneau on the Baie de la Forêt where we stay at the Hotel de l'Océan for 2 nights, breakfast and dinner with wine included. After checking into the hotel we will drive to the Hypermarket for essential supplies and a brief walk around the Old Walled Town before dinner.
Our excursion on Sunday is a short ride to Pont Aven, a famous artists' town. We return to Concarneau in the afternoon for more time in the port area before dinner.
On Monday we drive to Roscoff and then catch the 1500(or 1600) sailing to Plymouth.
