Friday - We reach France at 0800 and when we are all aboard the coach we’ll set off westwards to the port and Naval Base of Brest to spend the morning. In the early afternoon we resume our drive to Concarneau where we check in to the hotel for two nights. The afternoon is free to take a stroll along the promenade or go into the town centre. Dinner at the hotel followed by entertainment.
Saturday - After a buffet breakfast we drive to Quimper, the ancient capital of Cornouaille, where it is market day. Stroll amongst the stalls, have some refreshment and absorb the unique atmosphere. There’s plenty of time to visit the impressive cathedral or take a walk by the river.
We depart in the late morning and make a shopping / lunch halt at the Carrefour Hypermarket before we continue to the small resort of Bénodet. Dinner at the hotel followed by Le Jazz Hot!

The Panama Jazz Band

The band’s motto is “Happy Jazz” and this certainly reflects the members attitude to their music. They excel in playing the jazz classics but are not averse to playing old music hall songs etc. if that brings happiness to the audience.
Don’t be misled by their fun attitude for they are also deadly serious exponents of fine jazz. We’ve been taking them abroad for over 25 years and they have consistently delivered the goods to their dedicated followers and won over new fans each trip.
