Our visit to North Brittany takes in some of the most interesting places in this fascinating coastal region. We will be staying in the famous Pirates’ city of St Malo and the highlight of the trip will be an excursion to Mont St Michel, one of the top visitor attractions in all France.
On Thursday - We set off from Plymouth on the “Pont Aven’s”overnight 2045 sailing to Roscoff. A 2-berth cabin is provided but upgrades are available.
Friday - We reach Roscoff around 0800 and after disembarkation we drive into nearby Morlaix for a brief halt for you to find your land legs and have some refreshment. We’ll then continue eastwards and thence to the fashionable resort of Dinard where we’ll stop for sightseeing and lunch. In the early afternoon we travel over the Rance Dam and into St Malo and to our hotel where we stay for the next two nights with breakfast and dinner with wine.
On Saturday- We drive out of St Malo and along the coast to Mont St Michel. We spend the morning here and in the early afternoon we’ll head back to St Malo for sightseeing in the Old Town before dinner at the hotel.
On Sunday - We leave the hotel after breakfast and make a short drive to the charming oyster port of Cancale where we will have to sightsee and take refreshment before beginning the journey back to Roscoff. We catch the 1500 sailing and will reach Plymouth at 2010 when the coach will return to the original pick up points.
